Technical Methods Inc. is based in Lonsdale, Minnesota—just 40 minutes south of Minneapolis and within easy reach of a major airport hub. Our central Midwest location enables us to efficiently serve customers across North America.
Since our founding in 1993, we’ve grown to a team of 20 skilled employees operating out of a 12,000 sq. ft. facility. Our space is equipped with a wide range of advanced manufacturing technology, giving us the flexibility and capacity to take on complex projects.
Our continued investment in people, equipment, and processes reflects our commitment to excellence and ensures we can meet the evolving demands of our clients with precision and reliability.

CNC Equipment
We continually reinvest in our capabilities to stay at the forefront of manufacturing technology. Our fleet of 10 CNC machines provides expansive machining envelopes up to 145″ × 87″ × 22″, allowing us to take on projects of substantial size and complexity. The most recent addition to this lineup was acquired in 2025, further expanding our capacity and efficiency.
Complementing this equipment is a robust portfolio of industry-leading software, including Powermill, Mastercam, Surfcam, Solidworks, and PC-DMIS. Together, these tools empower our team to deliver precision, speed, and flexibility across every project.

3D Printing and Inspection
Complementing our CNC machinery is our 7-axis Hexagon ROMER inspection arm. Our advanced scanning capabilities ensure that every component on every project is built to specification.
As additive manufacturing technology has advanced, we’ve invested heavily to stay on the forefront of innovation. Today, we operate multiple industrial-grade polymer 3D printers that utilize both SLA and FDM technologies.
